Edward G. Quinlisk concentrates his practice in the Corporate & Securities areas at Ginsberg Jacobs LLC.
Mr. Quinlisk is experienced in the areas of securities, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and business counseling. He has worked on a variety of transactions in the securities area, such as private placements, public stock offerings, registered split-offs, shelf registrations, Rule 144A placements, tender offers, and going-private transactions. With respect to Corporate practice, Mr. Quinlisk advises clients concerning private equity investments and fund formations, and represents companies in complex business transactions as well as corporate governance issues.
Mr. Quinlisk recently represented a Fortune 500 manufacturer in the 2014 sale of its aerospace power distribution management solutions and integrated cockpit solutions business to a French defense and aerospace contractor. Additionally, he represented a Fortune 100 automobile manufacturer in the 2009 sale of substantially all of its assets to a newly-formed entity sponsored by the U.S. Treasury in connection with the manufacturer’s voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Prior to joining Ginsberg Jacobs, Mr. Quinlisk was Partner in the Chicago offices of Jenner & Block, LLP and Arnstein & Lehr, LLP.
