Daniel C. Cole has more than eighteen years of experience with respect to corporate, joint venture, real estate transactions, and tax credit financing.  Mr. Cole’s corporate/joint venture experience includes structuring early stage investments in emerging growth companies on behalf of venture capital funds and entrepreneurs, structuring of private placement offerings, convertible debt financings, equity investments, and asset and stock transactions. His real estate experience encompasses all areas of commercial real estate and development, including property acquisitions/dispositions, restructuring, complex tax planning, leasing, and negotiation of construction contracts, architect’s agreements and design-build agreements. Mr. Cole also represents developers, investors, syndicators and lenders in connection with tax credit financing transactions, including New Markets Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits.

Prior to joining Ginsberg Jacobs, Dan worked in house for Equity Residential, where he assisted in structuring all development joint ventures for the company’s portfolio, which consisted of approximately $1.6B in development projects. Previously, Dan practiced law at Katten Muchin Zavis and Bell Boyd & Lloyd.
