While there are certain constants in every commercial real estate transaction, each deal is unique, and presents its own set of complexities, goals and challenges. Clients depend on Greg to manage and work through the complexities, goals and challenges of each transaction, relying on his experienced judgment and advice from the early stages of a deal, to closing and post-closing matters.

Greg’s in-house general counsel and outside counsel/law firm experience gives him the ability and unique insight to acknowledge and understand the business decision behind a transaction, while managing the legal issues and risks associated with the decision and the transaction at hand. Greg’s broad spectrum of commercial real estate experience includes new and fast-growing real estate investment companies, to well established real estate investment trusts, to an e-retailer tenant in build-to-suit industrial leases and developments. Greg began his commercial real estate practice almost 20 years ago, a stretch of time which included several periods of explosive growth, development and investment, as well as downturns and negative effects to certain asset types and financial markets. Greg draws upon this experience and background in his approach to working through, negotiating and finalizing commercial real estate transactions.

Greg is a team-builder with a proven track record of creating, growing, and maintaining strong relationships. Greg is deal-driven, and truly enjoys being part of the team, working with his clients to help them meet their goals and objectives. Greg’s Legal Lean Sigma organizational and strategic planning skills and training help him navigate the complexity and numerous details of commercial real estate transactions. Greg is also an avid PropTech and LegalTech follower and contributor (just ask him!), and, whenever possible, seeks to incorporate those tools and systems into his work product and the work flow and systems of his clients.

Greg loves the uniqueness and different challenges that each transaction brings, and working with his clients in a dynamic, ever-changing environment to meet their goals and objectives.

Prior to joining Ginsberg Jacobs LLC, he practiced at Seyfarth Shaw LLP and was a partner at Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC and Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL.
