Stephen “Steve” E. Ross


Steve focuses his practice on commercial real estate law. Steve has a broad array of experience advising clients in various areas of real estate development including acquisitions, sales, leasing, financing, and corporate formation.

Steve attended the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign for both his law school and undergraduate studies. He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts in 2013 and his Juris Doctor in 2016. During law school, Steve served as a Teaching Assistant in Legal Writing and Analysis and Introduction to Advocacy.  Steve was also a member of the Corporate and Business Law Association, the Law Review, and Student Legal Relief, a group focused on raising awareness of social and legal issues impacting impoverished communities. As a member of Student Legal Relief, Steve spent a week in New Orleans providing legal aid to underprivileged citizens.

Prior to joining Ginsberg Jacobs, Steve worked at Firsel Ross LLC where he focused his practice on all areas of real estate development. Previously, Steve practiced as a business litigation associate at Thompson Coburn LLP.
