James “J.B.” Allen has been practicing law for over twenty years in the areas of commercial real estate and finance law. J.B. has represented developers, investors, owners, and institutional lenders in all aspects of commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture formation, financing, and leasing. He has extensive experience managing projects involving retail, office, industrial, multifamily, and hospitality properties throughout the United States. In addition, J.B. has assisted clients with the development and management of their operations, including corporate formation and governance, asset and property management, and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Ginsberg Jacobs, J.B. practiced for an international law firm known for its real estate practice, and more recently worked as in-house counsel for the investments division of a Fortune 500 insurance company. He is currently a Fellow with the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.
