Alec Rubenstein joins Ginsberg Jacobs

April 13, 2022 – Ginsberg Jacobs LLC welcomes Alec Rubenstein as Senior Counrsel

Alec has nearly thirty years of experience representing real estate owners, developers, managers and lenders in transactional and operational matters.  He has worked with clients ranging from individual investors to national real estate operating companies, on projects involving office, hotel, industrial, multi-family, student housing and mixed-use real estate.

Alec has a special appreciation for the needs and concerns of his clients, having served as long time in-house counsel to a national real estate investment trust and then to the shared real estate services provider of one of the world’s largest private equity fund managers.  Alec has played key legal roles in national portfolio transactions, complex construction and development projects, and company-wide strategic operations initiatives.  At the same time, he has served as a trusted, day-to-day counselor to his clients at every level of management.   He has also been instrumental in helping his clients structure and negotiate national contracts for property management and many other services, and has served as in-house “general counsel” for his client’s captive property insurer.

Michael Muthleb joins Ginsberg Jacobs

January 3, 2022 – Ginsberg Jacobs LLC welcomes new associate, Michael G. Muthleb Jr.

Michael focuses his practice on commercial real estate.  He has experience advising clients in various areas of real estate including acquisitions, sales, financing, and zoning and land use.

Michael received his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University. Most recently prior to joining Ginsberg Jacobs, Michael practiced at the Del Galdo Law Group as an associate attorney where a large part of his practice involved advising clients on the acquisition and sale of commercial and industrial properties, zoning and land use, and redevelopment projects involving economic incentives. Michael also spent time working in the City of Chicago’s legal department as a post-graduate fellow where he advised the Department of Planning and Development on the financing and refinancing of housing and economic development projects.

John Stout joins Ginsberg Jacobs

December 1, 2021 – Ginsberg Jacobs LLC welcomes new associate, John T. Stout

John T. Stout focuses his practice in the area of telecommunications.

John received his Juris Doctor in 2020 from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was a member of the Environmental and Energy Law moot court team and a Baum Family Environmental Law Fellow Scholarship recipient. While in law school, John gained experience through several positions including working as a student law clerk for Chicago-Kent’s Environmental and Energy Law Clinic and as an in-house law clerk at the Gas Technology Institute. Following his graduation, John worked as a postgraduate environmental law clerk at the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic and as a legal analyst for the Gas Technology Institute.
