LaTonya N. Ellis Joins Ginsberg Jacobs LLC
LaTonya Ellis has an extensive background in Telecommunications, Real Estate, Finance & Business Strategy spanning over 16 years. As Director of Law Firm Business Operations at Ginsberg Jacobs LLC, LaTonya is responsible for implementing, supporting and enforcing the use of solutions that address the law firm’s business needs. LaTonya works to ensure optimal personnel utilization & resource management within the practice areas of the firm. She is also responsible for streamlining systems and technology management, allowing for internal efficiencies that result in improvement of business processes and creating consistent revenue streams. LaTonya has a direct focus in developing strategies for leveraging and maintaining solid client/vendor relationships.
In her previous role as a Lean six Sigma Black Belt at Verizon Wireless, LaTonya was responsible for driving and implementing process improvements within her corporate organization to attain competitive levels of quality and innovation. She also worked to support the Lean Six Sigma strategy, focusing on continuous improvement (CI) in areas of Real Estate, Vendor/Contractor Services, Network System Solutions, Outside Counsel Scope of Work and Pricing. LaTonya worked cross-functionally between the various leadership teams to drive long-term quality improvements. Her ability to gain real-time “Voice of Customer” (VOC) feedback resulted in significant improvements and savings for her business organization.
In her previous role as MWA Real Estate and Regulatory Compliance Manager, LaTonya managed escalations of problematic acquisition, leasing, and regulatory issues for Verizon Wireless. LaTonya served as a liaison between Corporate Headquarters, Regional Teams, and Outside Counsel. Within her tenure, LaTonya created and invoked a standardized scope of work, policy initiatives, and pricing for network real estate transactional matters. LaTonya was also responsible for oversight of environmental compliance and emergency response management for cell sites. LaTonya also worked to promote compliance of diversity initiatives and standards for network real estate vendors and outside legal firms.
